Step 3
- Check functionality of the remote (if installed)
- Is the remote responding normally?
- Is walk assist functional? If the motor responds, a motor issue is unlikely
- Note: A defective remote can lead to random mode switching or loss of motor power.
- Check functionality of the battery
- Are any battery LEDs flashing red and is the battery beeping?
- Note: This would indicate an internal battery error and likely means battery replacement.
- Does the power button operate as normal? Does button feel squishy or does it provide haptic feedback?
- Does the battery accept charging?
- Use the battery diagnostic program to test for any internal issues (click here for instructions)
- Try another battery that is known to be functional
