Step 2

• Check the visible Speed Sensor elements
  Note: A damaged or incomplete Speed Sensor system results in loss of motor support after a number of seconds
• Is the magnet installed on the rotor?
• Is the magnet clean and unobstructed?
• Is the sensor in the dropout positioned correctly?
• Is the sensor in the dropout clean and unobstructed?
• Is the remote responding normally?
• Is walk assist functional? If the motor responds, a motor issue is unlikely
  • Note: A defective remote can lead to random mode switching or loss of motor power
• Try new parts if needed
