- Check the visible Speed Sensor elements
Note: A damaged or incomplete Speed Sensor system results in loss of motor support after a number of seconds - Is the magnet installed on the rotor?
- Is the magnet clean and unobstructed?
- Is the sensor in the dropout positioned correctly?
- Is the sensor in the dropout clean and unobstructed?
- Is the remote responding normally?
- Is walk assist functional? If the motor responds, a motor issue is unlikely
- Note: A defective remote can lead to random mode switching or loss of motor power
- Try new parts if needed
