What is a Specialized Turbo System?

All system components are designed from the ground up for the intended experience, together with the chassis.

But the systems do not only consist of the electronic components built into the bike. They include other custom elements, such as firmware and connectivity tools.

Definition of Full Power System

Here is a short definition of our Full Power system.

• We use it in all bikes except Turbo SL models. It was first introduced with Turbo Levo Generation I in 2015.
• There are different motor types with some variations regarding hardware and performance
• Depending on the bike used in and model year, integration into frames and cable/connectors vary
• 250w is the nominal output the motor delivers. ‘Nominal’ refers to the power output the motor can maintain over a defined period of time in a standardized test.
• When riding, the system can deliver much more output. Depending on the specific motor type, a Rider gets between 400 and 560 watts of peak power and 50 to 90 Nm of torque.
• In Rider language we for instance say ‘4 times you’ – this system adds about 4 times the average Rider output (on top of Rider input)
